Inserts

Now that I’ve fully embraced my A5 Filofax, I’ve been diving into the world of creating my own custom inserts. It started with a simple idea for one wish list, but as I got going, inspiration struck, and one list quickly turned into… well, several!

My wish lists

I’m excited to share the first batch of wish list inserts I’ve designed for my Filofax. These are all about keeping track of those things I’m hoping to acquire or experience. Take a look:

  • My Reading wish list: This insert is my personal library-to-be! Whenever a book catches my eye, whether through recommendations or my own discoveries, it goes straight onto this list. It’s a fantastic way to organize my literary aspirations.
  • Movie “want to watch” list (Working Title!): Okay, the name might need some polish, but the purpose is clear: this is where I jot down all the films I’m eager to watch. From new releases to classics I’ve missed, it’s my cinematic bucket list.
  • Video game wish list: For the gamer in me, this list keeps track of all the video games I’m itching to play. It helps me stay organized amidst the ever-growing world of virtual adventures.
  • Vinyl wish list: My wife and I are avid vinyl collectors, and this wish list helps us focus our crate-digging efforts. It’s a running tally of those coveted records we’re hoping to add to our growing collection.
  • Car Boot wish list: We’re big fans of the thrill of the car boot sale! This list helps us stay focused and remember those specific treasures we’re hoping to unearth amidst the bargains.

These are just the initial versions, so I’m sure they’ll evolve and improve over time. For now, they all feature simple columns, with the essential final column: a satisfying tick box to mark when I’ve finally acquired that longed-for item!

And now for the good news: I’m offering these A5 wish list inserts as a free download for you! If you’re a fellow Filofax user or simply someone who loves making lists, I hope you’ll find them useful. They’re formatted for A5 paper size, so all you need to do is print them out and punch those holes.
