Hey, my name is Lee, and welcome to “ink, paper & pixels”!

In this blog, I will write about all my adventures in arts and crafts projects, which have been a hobby of mine for many years. I’ve always been creative and thought it was time I started sharing my projects with you.

One of my favourite hobbies is bookbinding.  I’ve always loved a good notebook to fill out, and so started to learn how to make them myself.  A new passion I’ve just started in the last few months is linocut printing, so you’ll be able to see me learning as I go along with this new hobby.

My wife and I have two kids (actually, one of them is an adult now), and we also have two furry sons who are cats.  Shadow a black cat and Ziggy a ginger tabby.  We also have our furry grandson called Tig visit us, who is a Bengal, which is our daughter’s cat.  All three of them are such lovely, gentle boys!  So you may see them appear in my blog as I am working on any projects because they do love to help!

As you can perhaps tell by now, this blog features posts about arts and crafts, such as bookbinding, linocuts, and some drawings. But please know this now: I’m no artist by any means. I love putting a pencil to paper or a stylus on the screen (if it’s digital) and having a go. Another passion of mine is stationary, as in pens and notebooks, so expect to see posts about this topic as well.

So I’m hoping that you will join me along the way and see what I get up to, and even hoping you might learn something, or even I can learn something from you!
